Sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination in Australia's air traffic control centres could be putting travellers at risk, according to a new report.

The report written by former Federal Court Justice Tony North QC suggested the workplace culture was risking the safety of air navigation. Justice North QC also detailed findings of disturbing incidents at major airports in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The report has prompted calls for a wide-ranging independent survey to be established by the Morrison government.
