Former premier takes ruling coalition to task for harping on the claims of theft without charging anyone in court. FMTNews

PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak today sought to dispel the notion by Pakatan Harapan that Barisan Nasional leaders had robbed money from Malay institutions, and called for parliamentary investigations into these allegations.

He said PH had also accused BN of stealing money from the Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation, but noted that Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had said there was not enough evidence for further action. Najib similarly questioned who had really “destroyed” TH, saying the value of its assets fell by RM10.8 billion after the general election because of the severe stock market collapse “in PH’s hands”.
