They formally applied today for three orders against the former prime minister, including one for Najib to “personally” apologise to the court for publishing allegedly sub-judice comments on his Facebook page on July 15 and July 17 . In an affidavit filed in support, deputy public prosecutor Muhammad Izzat Fauzan asserted that the two Facebook comments by Najib were patent attempts to present his defence through social media and commentary on evidence presented in court.
“Such an act is clearly improper and is tantamount to interference with the due administration of justice and the legal process,” said Muhammad Izzat, who is part of the prosecution team in Najib’s trial.
AG Tommy claimed he don't subscribe to the principle of prejudice as theres no juries in M'sian court in 2018, so fast go say ppl prejudice now? Haha
