Train killer Darren Pencille escaped a rape charge after claims witnesses 'refused to testify'

He was jailed for 4½ years in 2009 after stabbing a man in a row over Rizla papers and 2½ years in 2004 after being arrested with a pistol and ammunition. In the 1990s, he was in a gang in Streatham, South London, and known as “Switches” due to his violent mood swings.

A former neighbour said Pencille kidnapped him in 2007 but he did not tell cops after the thug threatened to shoot his family. He said: “He was a fruitcake.
