Rosmah withdraws two appeals in solar hybrid graft case

Rosmah Mansor today withdrew her two appeals at the Court of Appeal regarding the transfer of her first corruption charges involving a solar hybrid system in Sarawak to another High Court to be jointly tried with Najib Abdul Razak's former special officer Rizal Mansor.

He said the first appeal was pertaining to the transfer of Rosmah's case before High Court judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah to the High Court presided by Justice Mohamed Zaini Mazlan and the second appeal was on her joint trial with Rizal.Court of Appeal judge Kamardin Hashim, who sat with Kamaludin Md Said and Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah, subsequently struck out the appeals.

On May 30 this year, Justice Mohamed Zaini allowed the prosecution's application for a joint trial of the cases involving Rosmah and Rizal in the Sarawak solar project.
