In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Sunday by the group’s Chairman of Media and Publicity, Mr. Atekojo Samson Usman, he said the statement by the former lawmaker was unfortunate, noting that Kogi State needed not to dissipate energy much if the governor had defended the mandate given to him in 2016.
He said that the APC cannot afford to lose election to PDP which is waiting in the wings to strike at a slightest opportunity. “As a forum for justice of APC, we have array of aspirants and they must be Justice and equity for all the contestants ahead of primaries slated for August. The group further described Senator Adeyemi’s utterances as primordial, selfish and ethno-centric, which is capable of disuniting the people rather than uniting them as the party faces election anytime soon.
