WASHINGTON - The U.S. Senate will consider legislation to address the migrant surge at the border with Mexico later on Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said.
Trump on May 1 requested the aid for programs that house, feed, transport and oversee record numbers of Central American families seeking asylum in the United States and straining capacity at migrant shelters in border cities. McConnell, a Republican, earlier Tuesday denounced what he called “poison pills” in the House version, and President Donald Trump, a Republican, has threatened to veto it.
If it is passed, the two chambers will have to work out their differences before sending legislation to Trump to sign into law. This could force House Speaker Nancy Pelosi into a difficult position, as she had to work hard over the last two days to convince many progressive Democrats to back the House bill, and they may not warm to the Senate version.
The House Version or the Senate Trump Wall version. Well if it is Mitch we KNOW it will not be anything near the Democratic House Version. More GOP Wasted Money, read somewhere it is $775 GOP per person. where it is $530 to put someone in Holiday, 24 hr guard n meals privately.
When is Mitch McConnell gonna film Master of Disguise 2 though
Border aid? For CBP ? For ICEgov workers? For your employees who are serving up frozen food to caged children? Who is getting this aid? TrumpCamps TrumpConcentrationCamps are illegal & part of Trump's for-profit prison system. VOTEHIMOUT VoteBlueToSaveAmerica

I don’t usually comment on people’s appearance because it’s not germane to the substance of a political discussion but outside that, I keep wanting to call him “Granny McConnell”. I really don’t understand how this man sank so low.
