Court jails pastor for raping 14-year-old - Premium Times Nigeria

A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Maitama, on Tuesday, sentenced a pastor, Basil Princewill, to 12 years imprisonment for raping a 14-year-old girl.

”Those who are supposed to be men of God are expected to be highly religious, exhibit decency and act as role models to their followers. “It is more worrisome, especially when a person in question is looked up to as a man of God,” he said. ”I am impressed by the testimonies of PW1 and PW2; I believe PW2’s story of how the accused raped her.

That it took over 7 years to conclude this case is a real worry.

Is pastor his name or title? If title then it should be removed immediately for the man is not worthy to be called one
