Court officials and employees in Manila will have a three-day weekend starting Saturday (June 22) until Monday (June 24) when the city celebrates its 448th founding anniversary.

President Duterte, through Proclamation No. 731, has declared June 24 a special non-working holiday in the City of Manila. With the proclamation, Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin said there will be no work in all Manila-based courts – trial courts, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court – on Monday.
