The president's ban on transgender personnel from entering the military was implemented in April.

President Donald Trump on Friday afternoon sent a tweet to recognize and celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month, making him the first Republican president to recognize the event. However, many on social media were quick to remind Trump of his administration's treatment of their community, and of transgender Americans in particular.

As many Twitter users immediately pointed out, many in the LGBTQ community have not felt that"solidarity" with the Trump administration. The president's ban on transgender people from entering military service — excluding those who have already served as transgender and have already been diagnosed for the gender claim and received hormone treatments, according to NBC News — was repeatedly cited as a problem in responses to the tweet.

Remembering those we left behind asked, “I wonder how our LGBT Americans serving in or recently involuntarily discharged from the military feel about this?”“Someone tell our Commander in Chief that LGBT doesn’t stand for “Let’s Get Behind Trump.” He seems confused.”

GOP congressman: 'The ball is in our court, Congress'GOP Rep. Justin Amash, who earlier this month stated that President Trump has engaged in impeachable conduct, tweets after Mueller's remarks, 'The ball is in our court, Congress.' I totally agree. However, I hope we don't overlook our Atourney General Barrs lying to the people about Mueller's report, his summary after the report was released was totally off! How can we get rid of Barr? But yet, he voted against H.R. 1....pfft. Yes, Mueller got tired of wearing that CLAM shell (for 2 yrs.). He finally decided to SING LIKE A CANARY because he didn't like the amount of LIES Barr was telling Trump voters. Now he has to put on his big boy pants & ADDRESS CONGRESS.
