CSOs criticise Justice Bulkachuwa’s removal as gender discrimination

The Civil Society Advocacy Centre and Women In Nigeria have described the development as unfair and undemocratic effort to undermine “inclusive, participatory and equal opportunity in both public and private spheres.”

This is an odd angle to this matter. It completely fails to consider that no party to a matter can be said to have fair hearing if they believe that the arbiter “maybe” (not is), biased. It is not a legal but a moral burden. The optics are bad! Simple. Nothing to do with gender!

Was she removed? She refused herself as she found sufficient reasons to do so . Judicial intergrity is more important than gender in this matter
