An FCT High Court in Jabi, Abuja on Friday dismissed a suit challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s nomination in the 2019 Presidential Election for lacking in merit.The suit was filed by Ozuzu Theodora, Udichukwu Obina, Peter Oduba and Zaro Melchizedek, under the platform of Democracy, Human Rights, Anti-Corruption, Integrity Advocates .
They prayed the court to declare that by virtue of the provisions of Sections 1 of the Money Laundering Act, 2004, the direct cash of N45 million as nomination fee by President Buhari was illegal and unlawful.
