Human rights groups had challenged Kenya’s anti-gay laws, calling them a violation of constitutional rights

, including the right to privacy and the right to human dignity. But in a much-anticipated judgment on Friday, the Kenyan court rejected their challenge.

In upholding the criminalization of homosexual acts, a three-judge panel of the Kenyan High Court said it could not exclude “our cultural values and principles.” It also alleged that decriminalization could “open the door” to same-sex marriages. And it said there was no scientific evidence that gays and lesbians are “born that way.”

An organization of Christian church groups in Kenya has been among the leaders in fighting against the court challenge of anti-homosexual laws.

Scheer Pledges To Crack Down On Human TraffickingHe also promised to end 'automatic bail' even though there's no automatic bail in Canadian law. Scheer can go stuff a duck. When you can be charged with sex assault and get bail, separately for another charge and get bail, be charged with violations of his release, then shoot up the Eaton Centre killing two, shooting a 13 year old in the head and about 5 others, you might as well call it automatic. When 'radicalized'people get caught with bomb making materials and get released on bail, there's a problem.
