JUST IN: Planned Parenthood and ACLU sue in federal court over Alabama's near-total abortion ban.

Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union announced Friday that they have filed a federal lawsuit over, which makes nearly all instances of performing an abortion a felony.

Randall Marshall, the executive director of ACLU’s Alabama chapter, said the lawsuit is designed to ensure the abortion bill “never takes effect.” Kolbi-Molinas called the law “blatantly unconstitutional,” and the suit states that by criminalizing abortions the Alabama statute “directly conflicts” with Roe v. Wade.

Should be pro choice, they’ll leave it alone, ain’t there decision, a ladie makes the decision on her owned by her and god own body

Use birth control wouldn't need an abortion

Get in the kitchen and bake cookies and clean your ovens

Abortion was never a right throughout history and was considered murder. It only came about within this past century with the self centered generation. And men should have a say in it when it is they who will be performing most of the abortions

Yep!

I’ve tithed since I was 5. Upon realDonaldTrump ‘s election, those tithes started going to PPFA and ACLU , providing poor folk with the same healthcare available to rich and protecting civil liberties - that’s what my grandma called “the Lord’s work”.

Dozens of hopeful murderers gather in protest. MSNBC reports.

Bad move filing in Federal court over a State law. Don't they know Trump is giving power back to the States?

It’s funny, unhinged leftists are drooling over a complete government takeover of healthcare but all of a sudden don’t like it when big government steps in. HYPOCRITES

SenateDems

Abortion Care. 🙄 You people crack me up.

Good. Hope they win.

This will be stuck in court for next year, before it gets to SCOTUS. But that is always the plan with these laws. Wishful thinking that one of them will over throw the Roe ruling.

Until Ruled or Voted Otherwise, Federal Law Mandates PRO CHOICE Period! States Cannot Supercede That. No Exceptions!!

Please MSNBC,quit adding to this hysteria calling these bills 'heartbeat bills'. There's no heartbeat in an embryo. There are only cells at 6 weeks. Educate yourselves please.

I just donated to Planned Parenthood. Sisters have to have each other's backs in times of crisis like these.

Because if the liberals can’t kill babies then what good are they

Planned Parenthood lawyered up with taxpayer money.
