Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand releases 'Family Bill of Rights' agenda, focused on paid family leave and policies that offer support to working families.

In a newly released agenda, Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand tackles an issue that has been a cornerstone of her congressional career – paid family leave and policies that offer support to working families.

The push for parent-centric policy has gained popularity as the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates have sought to address affordability in raising children. Though she did not offer details on an estimated final cost, Gillibrand said she plans to pay for the plan by passing a Financial Transaction Tax. According to the Congressional Budget Office , the tax could yield $777 billion in revenue over the next decade.

JoeBiden and PeteButtigieg's campaigns have also been operating in respectfully towards other Dems. The only campaign that isn't is BernieSanders - imagine that.🙄Both he and his followers are ripping other Dems with inpunity. Why don’t you trust voters to sort this out. They clearly aren’t interested in Gillibrand. Why force her on us? She will take up valuable time from other candidates we prefer to hear from. 'Her perspective' stabbed Al Franken in the back, one of her many sad, self-serving moments.
