Washington Gov. Jay Inslee signed legislation on Tuesday making the state the first in the country to legalize human composting.
The process uses wood chips, straw and other substances to turn the human body into soil, giving families an environmentally friendly alternative to burial or cremation. The bill, titled"concerning human remains," passed with bipartisan majorities in both chambers of the state legislature: 80-16 in the House and 38-11 in the Senate.
Washington Apple 😱😱
Taiwan forever
you wouldn't do it to a pet and yet you would stick a human body in a barrel and let it rot away ...awful!

I'm good with this. Return the body back to the earth in a good way. Nobody says you have to grow tomatoes, but trees or shrubs is a good thing.
Jeffrey Dahmer would have dug this legislation.
A young redwood tree growing out of me would be good
The bill is actually titled, 'Concerning Human Remains' which is a shortened version of, 'Concerning Human Remains...We're, Um, Going to Turn You Into Mulch...So Your Loved Ones Can Plant Tomatoes With You. Then Eat You' Bill.

Another sensible idea soon to be in the crosshairs of some Second Amendment Televangelist Absoltist.
Personally I want to be buried back into the land, something so cyclical and natural about that.
