VISTA, California — Prosecutors plan to call the first of five women to testify Tuesday at the rape trial of former NFL player Kellen Winslow Jr., whose accusers include a 54-year-old who got a ride from him hitchhiking and a 59-year-old who was homeless when they met.
Winslow has never hidden that he had consensual sexual relations with the women, the lawyer said. He also disputed the prosecution's account that the women did not know Winslow was a former football player. Winslow later befriended a 59-year-old homeless woman who said he sodomized her in May 2018, Owens said.
What a guy.

Good God 😳 Innocent until proven guilty is a slogan. I don’t care what the verdict is...nobody is accused of all that by separate unconnected people over a course of years and is innocent of it all. It’s beyond credulity.
I certainly respect that all women should be taken seriously when it comes to sexual assault but the rhetoric from both sides on the issue has lead me to believe that we're all hopelessly tribal, and we'd be foolish to ignore that the greatest divide is between men and women.
