“I think that women are being depicted as chattel,” RepSpeier says as states debate abortion restrictions. “If we are going to start regulating women and their reproductive health, well maybe we should start regulating men and their reproductive health.”

More than 50 organizations -- including the American Civil Liberties Union and NARAL Pro-Choice America -- are participating in #StopTheBans protests nationwide. The rising wave of abortion restrictions in AmericaRallies will take place at noon local time in almost all 50 states. "Across the country, we are seeing a new wave of extreme bans on abortion, stripping away reproductive freedom and representing an all-out assault on abortion access," organizers said.

Several states already have similar laws, including Mississippi and Ohio. And more states, including Missouri and Louisiana, could enact"heartbeat bills."Abortion rights activists say these kinds of restrictive laws are an attack on Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the US. "We will show up to speak out and fight back against this unconstitutional attempt to gut Roe and punish women," organizers of Tuesday's protests said.

RepSpeier I'd support a bill requiring vasectomies for all republicans.

RepSpeier Can yall just stop? Just stop. If men wanted to regulate women's' bodies they would make it so women never got pregnant in the first place. Sorry not sorry for believing a heartbeat means life, and that terminating that heart beat means death.

RepSpeier Dem women went too far, as usual. Even those of us who are Pro-Choice, are horrified by Dems demanding Late-Term Abortion and Infanticide. Dems have gone off the deep-end, immoral, barbaric.

RepSpeier Make it a crime to ejaculate irresponsibly IrresponsibleEjaculation is the 1 cause of UnwantedPregnancies UnwantedPregnancy is the leading cause of abortions Men&their IrresponsibleEjaculation are ultimately responsible for abortion Change the Narrative Its ♂️not ♀️ LockMenUp

RepSpeier CNN hosts just drooling over abortion-loving Democrats.

RepSpeier I wonder how many of these pro-choice women had their newborn sons circumcised?

RepSpeier I have no sympathy. 100% religion! Yet more evidence of what happens if you support, defend, or tolerate religion. You make your bed, you can lay in it. Stop tolerating religion! religion delusion psychosis

RepSpeier

RepSpeier In general restrictions on reproductive health services are violations of both the 14th Amendment and the Establishment Clause of the 1st, but these recent legal assaults on women are so extreme that they are increasingly violations of the 13th Amendment as well.

RepSpeier Nope that is what SHE wants women to be, but as they would consider voting for her! Just fall in' lock step' women, SHE will protect You!! BS POLITICIAN!!

RepSpeier

RepSpeier Men who have unprotected sex outside of marriage shall be jailed not less than 18 months and fined up to 20% of their reported income.

RepSpeier Just stop using the term 'reproductive health.' Reproduction has already happened once impregnated. Therefore it's 'reproductive.' It's also not health. You dont have a disease when your pregnant!

RepSpeier When men carry other humans inside of them, you will have a point. Until then, you don’t and should probably take a biology class.

RepSpeier Abortion is unGODly
