Its clear now that the election will be unfair. Is this the standard for canadian democracy? FreeToronto

Finally a sensible non political ruling. The other judge should be fired for incompetence.

It was hardly a shock. TO found a lefty activist judge who no doubt hoped his decision would all but make it impossible for Ford to appeal, win and cut council in time. He was wrong in more ways than one.

Top Ontario court to rule on whether to grant stay in Toronto council-cutting caseOntario's highest court is expected to announce today whether it will stay a court ruling that upended the province's plan to cut Toronto city council in the middle of a municipal election campaign. Can someone be done with a decision and move on? Did these courts get involved when tax payers money was spent to buy pipelines, gas plant cancellation, orange helicopter scandal, sale of 407, Hydro One, etc? Where were the lawyers and protesters? Hope judges will deliver to overturn previous decision. We need to restore integrity in law and overturn one judge’s very partisan disgraceful decision with no regard to Ontario’s law on the side of Majority Government who has sole governship over municipal councils.
