As states pass ever-tougher laws against abortion, a right-leaning Supreme Court could soon be faced with the question of whether to overturn Roe v. Wade

Sweeping state-level abortion restrictions present a direct test of whether the newly constituted Supreme Court is willing to revisit Roe v. Wade, the landmark abortion-rights precedent that has spurred deep divisions for nearly 50 years.

States with antiabortion legislative majorities have long been weighing how to prompt a Supreme Court review of the 1973 ruling, but generally have preferred a strategy aimed at reducing the procedure’s availability through incremental restrictions that hamper providers, or by forbidding...

Is it a question of whether or not to, or is it their whole entire plan from the start?

It's a fact, that guys and girls like sex however; when it comes down to it, girls do NOT pay for it financially. The people do and it's not right in some instances. Just like a divorce. Who's paying for it? Equality my back-side. ♀️

Republicans do this at their own peril. If it moves forward the party will slowly due out. Remember the whigs?

Namely, (1) the legitimate purpose of these laws is not secular; (2) the effect of these laws is to advance religion; and (3) these laws result in excessive entanglement of government and religion. How is SCOTUS going to 'revoke SECULAR RIGHTS' by ADVANCING a RELIGIOUS AGENDA?

Uh, how can Alabama's 'law' putting physicians in jail for performing ANY abortion (thereby violating the 8th Amendment) be deemed a 'lawful challenge' to Roe v. Wade, much less the FACT that SCOTUS' own Lemon Test renders these anti-abortion 'laws' void ab initio?

So it seems people haven't been following Supreme Court decisions, JusticeRoberts and JusticeKavanaugh will not both vote to overturn RoeVWade. One might but not if the other is voting to do so. It won't get overturned unless Ginsburg is replaced by ConeyBarrett.

Ladies sterilize the Penis. Why should they have all the fun without responsibility.

I doubt the Supreme Court will completely overture Roe because the anger from the public would be too great. But they will probably restrict it further than the Left would like which will get them upset anyway.

Listening to the Alabama bill “writer” answer questions about “his” bill, made it clear that he didn’t write it. He could not have as even he didn’t understand its logic. That bill and other state bills were ginned up by a boiler room. Can we find out who is funding this?

The most stupid thing I ever heard,

If crazy leftists in NY, CA, VA hadn't supported infanticide abortion up to the third trimester, the challenge to Roe would never have happened.

Yessssss

Even Roe regretted Roe.
