KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The lawyer of businessman Low Taek Jho or Jho Low's mother says he has been authorised by his client to receive the notice of motion served on her for property forfeiture.

M. Puravalen explained to Justice Mohamed Zaini Mazlan during case management on Friday that Goh Gaik Ewe was presently overseas.

The forfeiture notice also involved Datuk Seri Najib Razak, his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, their three children and other individuals and companies. Goh is the 13th respondent. Also present were Najib, as first respondent, Aiman Ruslan Ng Chong Hwa and a representative of Syarikat Senijauhar Sdn Bhd .

The notices filed under Section 61 of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 listed 18 individuals and companies as respondents.
