Adib inquest: Lawyer grills forensics expert on ‘probability report’

Syazlin Mansor, representing the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia and the Housing and Local Government Ministry, said the Kuala Lumpur Hospital Forensic Pathologist Dr Ahmad Hafizam Hasmi had a picture of the road shoulder in the report to confuse the court. Dr Ahmad Hafizam: The road shoulder was one of the five objects that could have caused the injuries as they were likely caused by hitting a blunt, hard, and wide object with a rough surface. The road shoulder was already there when we carried out an experiment of the incident.

He also pointed out that the firefighter was thrown out after the front left door of Emergency Medical Rescue Service van hit Adib’s body.

Amidst all this, is anybody charged for rioting? Just wondering.

Lawyers shld focus on this 'experts' erroneous calculation of the force with which the van hit Adib. To use the van's mass instead of Adib's is clearly wrong & inflates the result by some 30x. If shown that the force not enough to break his ribs, then his whole theory falls apart
