Alleged Money laundering: Court adjourns trial of 2 PDP Chieftains to July 1 vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday, adjourned until July 1 and 2, the trial of Clement Faboyede and Modupe Adetokunbo, chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party , facing alleged money laundering charges.

They had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted bail in the sum of N50 million each. The defendants were said to have committed the offenses on March 27, 2015, when they were alleged to have conspired to an accepted cash payment of the sum of N500 million.
