At the time, jurors were told, a Metropolitan Police officer thought the allegations were ‘credible.’Beech was given anonymity as a complainant of sexual abuse, and was therefore given the pseudonym Nick.

Lord Bramall’s wife also died while the accusations against her husband were still being investigated, the court was told.Jurors were told that Mr Proctor will give evidence and answer some of the ‘false allegations levelled at him.’
