More than a dozen sharks have been tagged while lurking off Sydney beaches over a 90-day period.

The latest figures from the NSW trial of smart drumlines show 14 sharks have been tagged in Sydney, and 16 have also been caught on the state's South Coast.

They've got the whole ocean to swim in. They should be discouraged from visiting our 🏊 and surfing beaches by all available means.

Breaking news - sharks found in ocean. Standard level of journalism youd expect from Sky News.

Pedophiles lurlk; sharks swim.

Shoddy journalism. 'Lurking'? How are they tracked and how will having a tracking tag prevent 'attacks' (they aren't) on swimmers? Please get it right. Anthropocentrism? Rather sad that the story dog whistles people eaters and ignores any research going on. shark ocearch
