Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who appointed special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, said goodbye to the Justice Department. 'Justice is in good hands,' he told a crowd of well-wishers

"Justice is in good hands," Rosenstein told a packed crowd of current and former department officials, friends and well-wishers gathered in the department's Great Hall. While not directly mentioning the Russia investigation he led for nearly two years or some of its more controversial moments, the deputy attorney general said Thursday that it's"most important to follow the rules when the stakes are highest.

DOJ attorneys defend Mueller's ability to investigate Trump in Roger Stone filingAt the same time, the lifelong Republican fended off months of attacks from Trump's GOP allies about his handling of the Russia investigation, frequently dealing with squabbles over access to classified documents and other rarely shared materials -- all of which culminated in a small but vocal group of lawmakers laying the initial steps for his impeachment last year.

Ellen81821355 Right there is nothing left to uphold with lawless Republican Nazis.

KTLA And hopefully in a jail cell

Bill Barr, best choice possible. He will bring honor back to Justice. The last 10 years have been rough. Barr is someone that won't likely be intimidated by anyone.

Now arrest his ass

A key element in new investigations. Who's side did the Democrats think Rod R. was on. The side of Justice. Justice is coming for those involved in an attempted coup lawlessness and sedition. Rod flew with Trump several months ago for a reason. - CLOUD DROP

Now that you are gone and Comey is gone from the FBI. Obama Mafia will be prosecuted soon

KTLA Oh it is...aye

GoodRiddance DrainingTheSwamp

Bye bye kiss ass

Great News.

Rod Rosenstein, hahahaha Now that's how you CYA and keep your Pention hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Why do these people lie. And why do those people believe?

'Justice is in good hands?' Our justice is in the hands of an insurance company ... great Rod

… and the Rotten apples felt from the FBI tree...

He's a sell out

US is Pharoah of our time, they behave like they are in charge of the destiny of mankind..

Idiot

Bensteve83 I Doubt it! Really. AG Barr needs to go to Jail. Pension time. Disappointed. It is what it is. Leave unscathed or wallow in 💩 CAUSE IT’S GOING TO HIT THE FAN! ImpeachTrumpNow 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🇺🇸

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out

Time for his subpoena.

Your mother is in good hands

And now that i’ve kissed ars, please trump dont come after me. I wont wrote a book either.

You couldn't even depart with dignity.

To bad he acted in self interest at the expense to his oath to office. History will see him for who he was on the end. At best he will be seen as a hypocrite to his former self. Standing next to Barr in their Mueller briefing you could see the death of integrity in his eyes.

Bye coward

Well BYE 😳

definitely a major improvement$

Nope

One less crony.

Rod Rosenstein represents one down- more to go.

Don’t let the door knob hit you ...

He used his real name and has no secret service protection now. The President Trump administration went in and removed everyone else’s secret service protection. Even President Obama’s secret service protection is gone. He hires his own bodyguards.

So, when will he turn on Trump? Perhaps he did wear a wire!

Not sure about that but it could not be in much worse!!!!

Justice is not in good hands, has he not been reading the papers or is/was he part of the corruption?
