Georgia is the latest state to sign a ban on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, although precedent suggests it will face legal challenges.

All of the other states where so-called"heartbeat" bans have been put in place have led to legal battles, meaning no state has a six-week ban currently enacted.Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp acknowledged the possible legal trouble ahead shortly before signing the bill into law Tuesday. Planned Parenthood released a statement moments after the bill was signed saying they intend to file a lawsuit to stop it from going into effect.

Too bad these anti abortion assholes only care about a fetus, not a real child. Once a kid is born they couldn’t give a crap about what happens to them.

i think both sides need to be understanding. however, my side is i dont like abortions either. its a cold world but at least give the baby a shot. :(

Ironically, these govt stooges, trying to control women's bodies, are the ones begging their girlfriends and mistresses to GET an abortion after choosing NOT to wear a condom. If this ever ends up passing - GET YOUR WALLETS READY, BOYS.

Women do have a Choice. You can use birth control or not have sex. The baby didn’t just magically appear in your uterus. Just sayin. 🤔

Another state that women should avoid then. Just vote - with your feet! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

To GovKemp : Alyssa_Milano thanks you :)

If I’m not mistaken the majority of women in Georgia voted for Kemp. This is exactly what they wanted.

Thanks GA

Thank you!

Kudos to Georgia.

Every day feels closer and closer to Handmaid's Tale being reality. 🤦‍♀️

Republicans will never stop trying to force more profits out of the slaves...

I can’t imagine this surviving a legal challenge.

Why is it that women always suffer because right wing ideologies

Can't wait for the SCOTUS to hear this case. It's all about the science! The Left always says. Well, the science of human reproduction has taken leaps & bounds since 73. This is the Beginning of the End to open abortions in America!

🤨

You can't even detect a pregnancy before 8 weeks. Why are these old white men making decisions about women's health? The patriarchy must be getting desperate.

MarvelStudios DisneyStudios stop filming there

If men were pregnant for 9 months, delivered the baby, and the primary caregivers for their children there would clinics on every corner.

Georgia was ranked 50 out of 50 states in poor maternal health outcomes. Maybe stop punishing women, and children, and start providing them with proper healthcare, prenatal, post natal and every damn day!?!?

You can't claim that you are the party of human rights while systematically slaughtering them. You can't claim that BlackLivesMatter while at the same time slaughtering innocent black babies. You can't claim you are the party of females while killing female babies.

You will never ban abortion, only access to safe family planning.

'Unconstitutional?

Good.
