THE death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim is “directly linked” to Malay rights, a lawyer for the young firefighter’s family told protesters at a rally in Kuala Lumpur today. Zubir Embong from PAS’ legal and human rights bureau said this was because there were attempts to “cover up” facts in an ongoing inquest into how Adib sustained injuries while on duty at riots outside a Hindu temple last November.
