US Attorney General William Barr may not attend a House Judiciary Committee hearing to review Robert Mueller’s report due to objections over the panel’s format.

The Justice Department informed the committee that Mr Barr may not testify at the hearing scheduled for Thursday, due to plans to allow the committee’s counsels from both sides to question the

Attorney General after the traditional round of questioning by members. Justice officials are also opposed to a plan for members to discuss redacted portions of the Mueller report in a closed session.
