Man who raped woman and drew on her with permanent marker outside Canberra nightclub jailed for three years

Marquis Monte Rex Mack, 22, has been sentenced to three years' jail after pleading guilty to raping a woman outside a Canberra nightclub in 2021.

It's there Mack, who also went by "Kees", asked the woman for sex and proceeded to film four intimate videos of the victim without her consent, the court heard. The court was told the woman protested, asking "what the f*** are you doing?" to which he replied: "oh trust me. It's not going anywhere". It heard Mack told the woman to keep quiet in case people would hear them and the incident stopped when a group of people arrived at the car park.the woman said she still feels "frozen" from the ordeal three years on.

She said the offender labelled the victim's body as if it were his possession or "conquests" and as though "it was his to tag and share"."The offender, in effect, treated the victim, whom he had only met that night, as a piece of live pornography.
