I do not support the flying of the old flag. But where do we go with freedom of speech in SA ? Freedom of association ? Where will it stop once the government starts interfering in this way ?
On what basis? Because it upsets a few people? So do a number of liberation songs and slogans, but they are not banned. Why? Because a majority accept the lib songs but not the old flag. It is all part of history, just as is colonialism. Move on for goodness sake.

I understand completely why people want the old flag destroyed. However, the new flag will be the reminder of our farmers being slaughtered, the corruption in government, the lawlessness and unemployment. A waste of time and money.
