The Grenfell inquiry will send out the letters within weeks ahead of a final report into the events on the night of the catastrophe.
No surprise. Soft targets to justify public funding of compensation.
Council officer that approved contractors work need strong criticism and jail time not brave firman these people are hero they will learn from anything they might have done wrong council officers did do wrong and need to lose job and pay by going to jail not push the blam as usua
Then tell who ever give the fire department grief for how they acted will be called upon when the next major fire is here and told deal with that dickhead
What's the point of a Fire Service if, when faced with a fire where members of the public's lives are in imminent danger, they do nothing on the grounds of the threats to their own health and safety?
What happened to the faulty fridge
They’ll be fine... all down to ‘austerity’ don’t you know...
Well there's a surprise, find a brave , innocent scapegoat to hide the truth.
To say stay indoors for an hour is a fucking joke .
It’s the Local Authority who should be called to account unless of course the Fire Officer signed off the building as fire ‘compliant’ after the building work was completed. And what about the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer under the CDM Regs 2015? Is PI in place?
I bet the commissioner still thinks she did nothing wrong and would still not change anything, on top of that she never read or acted upon the most important document issued to the Fire Service in the last 10 years, if she had, goodness only knows how many could have been saved
If they started the fire yeah blame them, they didn’t. Those poor people died through corrupt penny pinching officials and planners failing to properly inspect. The brave firefighters were left with an out of control monster.
Like the police they have been made impotent by health and safety.
Blame the people who specified the cladding, the designers and the faulty fridge person.......
.... disgusting. We can all be experts in hindsight. Running towards a fire makes them all heros, nomatter what happens when they get there.
Disgraceful to pass the buck onto those on the ground. Same happens with the Police and Forces unfortunately.
They were always going after the fire brigade ,shocking !
How about Mr Nicholas Paget-Brown, the man responsible for making the decision to change the cladding? I wonder if the manslaughter charge is still on the books? Or has that been quietly dropped now he’s accepted the multi-million pound payoff?
Appalling but sadly realistic these days. It's much easier to blame the uniformed services for cock-ups than blaming the *real* culprits. Welcome to the club LondonFire Brigade! We feel your pain. 🚒🚓🚒🚓🚒🚓🚒
That's it throw it at the people who risk there lives . Always blame the wrong people . My God !
politician DOUBLESPEAK(1984). the blame lies with the person(s) who authorised the non compliant cladding, and the skinning design. Foe quality codes attached to the cladding. The building did/do not have sprinklers also contributes. look at the building regulations.
This will not change public opinion that responsibility lies with local and central government Might concentrate minds and generate more anger
Cus they risked there life’s while the Tory scum left them to rot away
well well well ………….
Great cesspit country of leftie controlled sh\\te. Lets blame all those that often lose their own lives to save many others .
