Taman Rimba Kiara and the rule of law or ‘wahyu’

An appeal in pending in the appellate court while MACC is in the midst of investigating allegations of corruption in relation to the development of Taman Rimba Kiara in Kuala Lumpur. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 28, 2019.

The present government has made the “rule of law” its mantra. And there is an appeal pending in the Appeals court and an ongoing MACC investigation into TRK. He has wide powers in the Federal Territory Act 1982 and could have used it to the benefit of all parties in the JWC and look for a solution. There is also DBKL that could offer valuable insights.

With the FT Minister pushing for his 'solution' in the Cabinet, I wonder who is going to speak for the people. Surely the Cabinet should listen to both sides.
