An award-winning Iranian human rights lawyer has been sentenced to 38 years in prison and 148 lashes after dedicating her life to defending opposition activists, including women who remove their hijabs in public.
That is harsh. What can we do though? We cannot even get our own citizen out of their jails, what hope have we got of asking for leniency in this case?
