AN initiative to inform foreign workers in Malaysia on their rights is among six anti-slavery and workers exploitation projects that will share the £4 million Britain pledged on Friday to support global anti-slavery efforts. The projects range from exploitation of migrant workers in Malaysia and Mauritius to sexually exploited girls in Ethiopia, reported the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the charitable arm of Thomson Reuters, that covers humanitarian news, women’s and LGBT+ rights, human trafficking, property rights, and climate change.
