Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Uba Sani has said he will comply fully with the judgement of the court in restoring the Chief of Piriga Chiefdom, in Lere LGA, His Royal Highness, Jonathan Zamuna, back to his stool.

Governor Sani stated this while meeting with Kaduna State Council of Chiefs to rub minds on development and security issues, with a view to forging a united and coordinated approach. The Governor, who stated this on his verified Facebook page, noted that it was imperative to effectively involve 'our citizens in the decision making processes.

recalls that the monarch was removed by the previous administration of Nasir El-Rufai on May 22, 2023, based on recommendations from the Ministry of Local Government Affairs. Dissatisfied with his removal, the royal father sought justice through the court, which ruled in his favour on June 10, 2024.
