It is the law that political parties must obey their constitution, guidelines and regulations. “Ward congresses are to be held in accordance with the law, the party’s constitution and Electoral Guidelines. After being held, they cannot be cancelled save in the manner provided in the Electoral Act 2022, party’s constitution and Electoral Guidelines.But the party said the judgment does not affect its Asue Ighodalo as he remains its governorships candidate for the September election.
