Greater Sudbury police have arrested three suspects following a home involving in which a gun was discharged on Colonial Court at approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 3

Masked intruders broke into a home on Colonial Court at approximately 1:30 a.m., where they assaulted the residents inside and discharged a gun.

Upon breaking into the New Sudbury-neighbourhood house and assaulting residents, the suspects stole items from the scene and fled in a vehicle, according to police. Members of the GSPS Emergency Response Unit conducted what police describe as “a high-risk traffic stop,” which resulted in three suspects inside the vehicle being taken into custody.
