Summary With Superman still in production, new photos of an upcoming DCU set may be hinting at a Justice League setup within the DC Universe installment. James Gunn's DC Universe is closer to becoming a reality, as the Creature Commandos TV show will premiere in December, followed by the new Superman movie in 2025 as part of DCU's Chapter 1, "Gods and Monsters.
Will The Justice League Be Created In Superman? Close DC Studios has made it clear that Gunn's DC Universe will have a lot of established superheroes already - including Superman, as Corenswet's iteration will already be operating as Metropolis' guardian angel. However, with a Justice League movie not happening any time soon, this begs the question of how long it will be until the team is properly born in the DC Universe.
Some of the recent Superman set photos with Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, and Mister Terrific have also suggested that Justice League International may be something that they will lay the foundation for in the movie, who could also use this as a prospective base. It would also be genuinely amazing to see the Hall of Justice finally be featured in a live-action film, and having Superman be the first film where it is featured is only fitting.
