“I mean, it’s why you should expect the Republican Party to start filing legal challenges if they do try and move Biden off the ballot, and especially if they try to replace him with someone other than Kamala Harris, right?” Doescher said on Fox Business’s. “Because, legally, since they are a ticket, they are more combined. And Joe Biden has 99% of the delegates, right? It’s very difficult to rob the voters of that choice.

Doescher added it is possible for the Democratic Party to find “a miracle consensus candidate” before the 2024 election. However, an attempt by the party to “leapfrog the first female, black, and Asian vice president” would likely not go over well., argued Republicans are focusing too much on Biden’s mental acuity and that this overfocus could hurt them in the unlikely event that Biden is replaced.
