Court filings connect Stephens to an early morning June 17 holdup at the Kwik Stop gas station in the 4900 block of Atlanta Highway., in which two suspects were wanted. The whereabouts of the other unknown suspect remains unclear. MPD and court filings note that Stephens is connected to more robbery incidents, which happened in the early morning hours of Sunday. During that crime, the suspect is said to have walked into the McLemore Gas Station, located in the 2000 block of McLemore Drive, around 3:30 a.m. where he pulled a gun and robbed two victims of cash before fleeing.
