Both men are accused of assault and disorderly behaviour

Two men appeared in court today charged in connection with an incident at Portballintrae Boat Club last month.

McKendry whose address on court papers was listed as Quarry Road, Carrickmore, Co Tyrone, was accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and using disorderly behaviour in a public place, namely Portballintrae Boat Club at Beach Road, Portballintrae, on 3 June this year. A police officer gave evidence that she believed she coiuld connect the defendants to their respective charges and although none of the alleged facts surrounding the charges were opened in court.
