Billionaire businessman Frank Stronach stands charged with sexually assaulting seven additional complainants from 1977 to as recently as February, court documents filed Friday show, bringing the total number of accusers in his case to 10.
Stronach is accused of attempted rape and indecent assault on a woman between June 1977 and January 1978, and six other sexual assaults that allegedly occurred in the 1980s, 1990s, early 2000s and this year, the documents show. "He has spent his lifetime committed to the betterment of the Canadian community and industry," Greenspan wrote in a statement this week, saying Stronach plans to continue his advocacy work.Stronach, who was born in Austria, became one of Canada's wealthiest people by creating Magna in his garage in 1957 and building it into one of the world's largest suppliers of auto parts.
