The DA’s office just presented the case again to a second grand jury to consider murder and other potential charges, but the grand jury returned No True Bills for all charges. Chas Moore with the Austin Justice Coalition said the grand jury decision shows Austin has a long way to go in holding police accountable through the legal system.

Wednesday afternoon the attorneys for APD Officer Christopher Taylor released a statement saying the DA is creating a false narrative for dropping the murder charge against their client.
