Traders say selling pressure from Mount Gox newly announced repayments could be much less than market observers fear easing concerns about an imminent sell off. Sam Callahan, senior analyst at Swan Bitcoin sent in an email to Coin desk that the impact on Bitcoin's price is likely overblown.

Wikileaks announced on X that the co founder who spent five years in a UK jail cell in nearly seven years in Ecuador Embassy in London has boarded a private jet and left the country. Assange's departure from the UK follows prolonged negotiations with the US Department of Justice culminating in a deal that has not yet been formally finalized.
