Arewa youths warn against alleged attempts to deny Abba Kyari bail

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, has expressed concern over what it described as attempts to tamper with the bail recently granted to suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, who is facing trial for alleged drug trafficking. Recently, Abba Kyari was reportedly granted bail to attend to his mother's burial. The AYCF condemned any actions that undermine the concept of bail, which according to it, plays a crucial role in upholding justice and fairness in the legal system.

Despite this, AYCF said it had observed alarming reports suggesting attempts to intimidate and harass individuals on bail, raising serious concerns about the protection of legal rights. The AYCF called for the preservation of the rule of law and the safeguarding of individuals' rights to fair treatment within the legal system.
