Court orders lobbying czar to take new look at Aga Khan's vacation gift to PMThe Federal Court has ordered the lobbying commissioner to take another look at whether the Aga Khan broke the rules by giving Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a vacation in the Bahamas. Personally I took this whole affair at face value and not a nefarious event to curry monetary or political favour. At the same time, it's an opportunity to draw a line in the sand for all politicians going forward. previous commissioner white washed this for Trudeau and was found to be illegal as it ignored the fact that the Khan was lobbying the Trudeau government for millions while entertaining him on Khan’s private island- Bribery obviously which is why the OECD is watching Trudeau now! This is good news. Let's hope this time JT&AK affair is properly taken care of. Canadians need to know the truth!

Ontario ‘alarmist’ over federal powers if carbon pricing law stands, court hearsFederal government says there is no merit to the province’s claim that Ottawa will gain vast new powers Carbon tax is a hoax they just want your money... So far none of their arguments have justified the tax just their bullying of provinces I don't understand why Ontario is pushing the claim that prices will rise if a carbon tax is imposed. Apart from the questions around that claim, when did it become the concern of a law court if something costs more? That'a political or economic argument, not a legal one.
