A 35-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today in connection with the incident.

A man has been arrested and charged over an alleged gang weapon fight. The 35-year-old was detained by officers in connection with the incident in Glasgow on Monday.

The 35-year-old was taken into custody as officers began investigating the incident, and increased patrols in the area while the probe was launched. Locals near to the street in question, which is close to Glasgow Fort shopping and leisure centre, said yesterday that the area was "taped off" and that uniformed police were "standing by" due to men "fighting with machetes".
