Former NSW police constable Beau Lamarre-Condon’s double murder case returned to court on Tuesday morning for a brief hearing.

Accused killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon's lawyer gives update on his client's condition as double murder case is adjourned after brief hearing in court

The alleged murderer was not required to be present for the hearing at Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court, and remains in custody at Silverwater jail. Mr Walford made some short remarks to the media pack outside court on Tuesday after the proceedings were adjourned. Mr Walford indicated that mental health"may" form part of the defence’s case, but it was too soon to tell.

Mr Lamarre-Condon was charged with two counts of murder earlier this year over the deaths of Mr Baird, a former Studio 10 presenter on Network 10, and Mr Davies, a Qantas flight attendant. The former police officer allegedly concealed both bodies under a large tarpaulin in the backyard of the Paddington property overnight before returning to the home the next morning to move them.
