A 13-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with section 18 GBH and will appear at court today

The incident happened on Black Bull Lane in the Fulwood area of Preston at around 3.34pm on Wednesday . Lancashire Constabulary said the victim - who is aged in his 70s - was attacked by youths who were 'riding anti-socially on e-bikes'.

In an update issued this morning , police said a 13-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been remanded to appear at Preston Magistrates Court today.A 15-year-old boy from Preston has also been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He remains in custody for questioning.
